What this site collects.
A Nevitt Construction is a family run building contractor based in Hayle, working across West Cornwall since 1975. This site collects almost nothing: what you type into the enquiry form, and a count of visits that sets no cookies and identifies nobody.
The enquiry form
When you send an enquiry we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you type in. We use them for one thing: to answer you and, if it goes further, to quote and carry out the work. They are not sold, shared or added to a mailing list, and you will not be emailed anything you did not ask for. The form is delivered by a form service, which passes the message to Andy's email and keeps a copy of the submission.
Visitor numbers
We count visits so we can tell whether the site is doing its job — which pages get read, and how many people tap the phone number. The analytics we use sets no cookies and builds no profile of you. It does not follow you to other websites, and there is nothing here to opt out of, which is why the site has no cookie banner.
What we do not do
There is no advertising on this site and no advertising trackers. Nothing here follows you elsewhere, we do not buy or sell visitor data, and we do not attempt to identify you personally from a visit.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as they are useful — for a live job, that means through the work and the period afterwards where questions come up. Visit counts are aggregate numbers only, and are not tied to a person.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to the email address below and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
